One True Book
"Don't think that I came to destroy
the Torah or the Prophets.
I didn't come to destroy,
but to fulfill.
For most certainly, I tell you,
until heaven and earth pass away,
not even one smallest letter
or one tiny pen stroke
shall in any way pass away from the Torah,
until all things are accomplished."
MATT. 5:17-18
Do you recognize the Bible as the only infallible book in all the world? Do you see God's word at work in your life? God's grace doesn't negate his laws. It reconciles the purpose of the law with the purpose of Christ's death and resurrection. Jesus came to do the will of the father and fulfill all that was written of him. God loves you so much he asked his beloved son to suffer and die on a cross so that you might be saved to live an abundant life here on earth. He pays attention to the tiniest details of your life as he does to his words. You can count on his integrity and on everything he says.
Dear wonderful Lord, forgive me when I doubt you, when I doubt how great you are. May your eternal purpose already accomplished through Jesus now be accomplished in me. I entrust all the details of my life to you. Thank you that I can count on you for all things.
"Solomon stood before the altar of Yahweh in the presence of all the assembly of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven; and he said, 'Yahweh, the God of Israel, there is no God like you, in heaven above, or on earth beneath; who keep covenant and loving kindness with your servants, who walk before you with all their heart; who have kept with your servant David my father that which you promised him. Yes, you spoke with your mouth, and have fulfilled it with your hand, as it is this day.'" ~ "Now therefore, God of Israel, please let your word be verified, which you spoke to your servant David my father." ~ "For as the rain comes down and the snow from the sky, and doesn't return there, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, and gives seed to the sower and bread to the eater; so shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return to me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing I sent it to do." ~ "Now therefore, God of Israel, please let your word be verified, which you spoke to your servant David my father." ~ "Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of the things which have been spoken to her from the Lord!" ~ "For God has put in their hearts to do what he has in mind, and to be of one mind, and to give their kingdom to the beast, until the words of God should be accomplished."
